In 2026, this film celebrates 50 years of political thrills, and it still hasn’t lost its cinematic impact since it first premiered. Filled with tension, suspense, foreboding and personal terror, All the President’s Men tells the story of two Washington Post reporters, Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, sent to cover a “story of minor importance.” In the process they discover the facts that broke the Watergate scandal wide open and helped to topple President Richard Nixon! You will learn how Robert Redford conceived the film and worked to bring it to the screen. You’ll also discover more about the actors, who were considered for various roles, and learn more about how the actual production of the film occurred.

Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman were both at the top of their cinematic game as they slogged through the web of money and intrigue that led to the downfall of many of the most powerful people in America. Professor Wolff will screen selected film highlights and provide backstory and  insights into the film itself.  He will also bring with him his own collection of film memorabilia, as well as a book and autograph display for participants to examine either before or after the presentation.
