Join us for a set of three lectures where we will explore the evolution of capitalism and democracy in the United States. With insights from Robert Reich's book Saving Capitalism, we will explore the economic history of the United States and examine how it has been shaped by significant events over time. Through this examination, we will draw comparisons between historical events and current situations, providing a comprehensive understanding of how the country's economic and political systems have evolved. We will uncover the complex and often misunderstood relationship between economic systems and political ideologies that have played a significant role in shaping the United States today.
